ESF Summer Semester

Boost your GPA, focus on core program requirements, remain on track for graduation, explore a new area of interest or learn something new.
Summer at ESF welcomes undergraduate and graduate students, high school graduates, rising high school students, and working or retired professionals; ESF has a course for you.
Select from online, on-campus, and field-based courses. Summer courses are open to ESF students, visiting college/university students, K-12 educators, professionals, and lifelong learners.
How to register:
ESF Matriculated Students
Our currently matriculated students may register for summer session courses by completing a "SUNY ESF Registration Form" (commonly known as the "Add/Drop Form") . Once completed, the form may be e-mailed to the Registrar's office (registrar@esf.edu). MySlice is not available for ESF Summer Registration, and Summer Semester information on MySlice will NOT be correct.
Incoming ESF Freshman and Transfer students
Register for Summer Semester by following the Visiting Student registration process (see below) and transfer ESF Summer Semester classes in to your program when you matriculate. Please check with your Admissions Counselor (315-470-6600) to make sure the class(es) you take will be accepted into your program.
Visiting Students

Syracuse University Students
For ESF Summer Semester courses, you will register as a visiting student. Information and registration for visiting students is found on the Visiting Students page. MySlice is not available for ESF Summer Registration, and Summer Semester information on MySlice will NOT be correct.
