Academic Success

The Academic Success Center was created to help students become resilient, independent learners. As the 'home base' for the ESF Peer Tutoring program, it plays an integral part in providing a variety of academic success services for students to help them realize their educational goals. The Academic Success Center offers 1:1 academic coaching for students, as well as hosts academic skill building workshops to help students build foundational skills for college success. Additionally, the ASC offers peer tutoring in over 35+ courses (primarily first and second year courses). The staff in the Office of Student Success and Engagement (SSE) helps connect students to academic and social support resources at the college to foster a sense of holistic wellness and to help create a customized support network. We assist all students and are focused on creating equitable and inclusive support services in collaboration with offices and departments.
