The Transfer Experience Program

ESF's Transfer Experience Program is provided to meet the unique needs and goals of students transferring to ESF from another college:

  • Transfer Student Orientation
Required for all entering transfer students, dedicated transfer orientation activities focus on academic, social, and financial matters.
  • Academic Support
Students enrolled in General Chemistry I, General Biology II, and Writing for the Environment and supported by a linked-course experience that provides opportunities for small group study, work shop sessions by the course instructors (Bio & Chem) and tutoring via the Academic Support Services Office.
  • Transfer-Specific Events: Keep your eyes open for upcoming transfer-specific events in the beginning of the semester! A great way to get to know your fellow transfer students and make some important connections in order to further ease your transition to ESF. For further details about student programs, activities, student organizations and clubs, check out the Student Involvement & Leadership Office website.
  • Diversity Awareness
ESF promotes and develop programs that educate all students about race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, etc., with the support of the student-to-student mentoring program, the Office of Diversity and Inclusion and others.
