Quality of Work Life Committee
The SUNY ESF Quality of Worklife Committee (QWL) was formed in 1984 with the primary mission of enhancing the sense of community and esprit de corps at the College. Since this time, the Committee has created and sponsored numerous campus activities, instituted several recognition programs, and coordinated many special events to achieve this goal.
Within these pages you will be able to find information about the QWL Committee and its activities. Be sure to check back often for details on upcoming events and ways to participate or provide feedback/suggestions.

Gestures
Gestures are typically in the form of a card of congratulations, condolences, or get well for those faculty and staff who have celebrated a major life event such as a wedding or addition of a child to the family, or are recovering from a major illness or mourning the loss of a loved one. If you know of someone who should receive such a greeting, please email the information to gestures@esf.edu.
Tent Rentals
Are you planning a big outdoor party and wish you had a tent to set up in the backyard? QWL has you covered - literally. The committee has a 20-by-20 tent that can be rented for $30 per day. All you have to do is reserve it, pick it up, set it up and return it when you're done. To reserve the tent, please call committee member Rebecca Hilts at x6671.
