ESFTV traces its roots back to the early twentieth century with the media pioneering efforts of the Office of Forest Extension. Radio programs and films produced beginning in the 1930's and continuing into the late 1960's paved the way for the first ESF television studio that went online in 1971. By 1998, film production had ceased, and the television studio dormant. ESFTV on YouTube displays over 400 television programs and segments. These progams are viewed by tens of thousands of subcribers and millions more world wide. |
