GIS at ESF

GIS teaching and research takes many forms at ESF ranging from the theoretical (Geographic Information Science) to the applied (Geographic Information Systems) perspective. ESF offers a unique multi-disciplinary approach to environmental monitoring and modeling with a strong remote sensing and geographic analysis component through diverse departments in engineering, biology, forestry and landscape architecture. Multiple programs are available to prospective students and we encourage visiting our Academic Programs above to obtain more information on teaching and research areas.
